Our Current Fundraisers

We received the official Pre-approval letter from China stating that we would be able to begin the process to adopt Ting li. Since then we have been very busy selecting our Home Study Agency, which thanks to a woman who lives in Denver we feel we found a great fit. The Social Worker will speak with Karla from our Adoption Agency on Tuesday to gather all the requirements and then........Let the paperwork begin. China would like our Dossier(paperwork) completed by December 3rd. This seems like a hefty task but our Social Worker feels this is possible. Once our Home Study is complete we will be able to begin applying for Adoption Grants, etc. In the meantime, we have decided to begin fundraising for our adoption. Since we are still paying off Jael's adoption costs we will need to fundraise for this adoption. Many families and friends have come forward all ready to make donations to help offset our adoption costs and we are very grateful to each of them.

The first fundraiser you will see is the Puzzle Fundraiser. If you click on the picture of the Puzzle in the upper right hand corner of this blog you will be taken to the website for our Puzzle fundraiser. The website explains the fundraiser and how you can contribute. There are three tabs on this website so check all three tabs. Currently, the third tab only has a picture of what the completed puzzle will look like. As we begin receiving donations, we will add pieces to the puzzle and take pictures of our daily progress. We are really excited about this fundraiser.

The second fundraiser has a prize for Colorado family and friends. A woman donated a $100 Gift Certificate to her Spa/Salon in Estes Park Colorado to Raffle off. There is no expiration date on this Gift Certificate so bid away. I need to give this fundraiser a cut off date of October 12th so get your entries in to me ASAP. You can mail a check or use the donate now button to purchase entries for the Raffle. Also please send me an email with your name, address, and phone # along with your donation amount, how many raffle tickets you want, and how you paid(ex. check in mail or online). We also are looking for Family and Friends that might be able to sell some Raffle tickets at work, church, to friends and family, etc. Please send me an email trisha.perna@yahoo.com if you are interested in helping with this fundraiser.
