Finally Our Paperwork is on the Way to China

Finally...We received an email from our Adoption Agency on Thursday that our paperwork had returned from the consulate office and was heading to China. They told us we should have a log in date within 3 to 6 weeks. Once we have a login date they will try to expedite our approvals and hopefully get us to China quicker because of her age. It is hard to believe that it has been about 1 year since we decided to adopt her. I guess at this point we are praying for travel in January but understand it could be later. Ting Li's 13th birthday will be March 31st and we hope that she will not have to spend one more birthday without a family. Notice I still call her Ting Li. We have not reached an agreemnet on a name for her yet and I am starting to wonder if there is some unknown reason for this. With Jael Brian and I just knew that was her name from the very beginning. I often wonder had we not met Ting Li would we feel differently about her name. She has always been Ting Li to us, that is the child we fell in love with in March 2008, and the child we have loved ever since. Well be in prayer that God will give us peace about a name for Ting Li since at this point nothing seems to be good enough.
We also received a very large grant from a local family in Arvada. They are adoptive parents that help families adoptiong older children or sibling pairs. Outside of airfare they have covered all of our travel expenses for China which was a huge blessing. We are so greatful to them for their generosity. Now the only thing we need is our Travel Approval....come on!!!!
