Gottcha Day...Well worth the Wait

When they arrived Ting Li was all ready waiting for them at the Civil affairs office so he wasn't prepared to video right away. That is why we have 2 videos's sorry. The other couple from our agency taped for Brian. Brian said both girls were crying when they saw each other. In the 2nd video you will see Ting Li crying and if you watch closely you will see Ting Li wipe Jael's tears too. Ting Li did ask where Mama was. The interpreter explained to her why I was not there. She said she understood. They told her that she could talk to me on the computer when they got back and she was very excited about that. I did talk to Ting Li on Skype. She likes the name Aria. She does know alot of conversational English but she seems to know more than she understands. The interpreter said that Ting Li is very worried about not understanding us so she is very focused on learning English. Brian mentioned that Ting Li seems alot more advanced than Jael was when we adopted her. She saw the dogs and said she is not afraid of them which is a huge blessing after the issues we had with Jael and the dogs. She loves swimming. The orphanage sent her with 2 big suit cases of things. Brian has not had a chance to look through them yet but said there is a coat for her in one of them. He said she seems alot thicker than he expected so we do not think malnutrition has been a problem for her. The orphanage said she weighs 88 pounds. My apologies for being all over the place.... It all just seems so sureal, right now. Brian says the girls are so funny together. They have been wrestling and being silly and giddy since he brought them back to the room. It was so amazing to see them together...Jael says they are like Hillary and Haley Duff...The Asian version I guess...Hillary Duff is her new favorite...Her favorite movie is A Cinderella Story with Hillary Duff...I had rented it from Blockbuster before she left and of course Brian found it hidden in her bag for China...Could you have imagined the late fees...Oh boy...Anyway onto the videos.....
